We specialize in on location head shots. We will bring the studio to you. All you need to do is secure a space for us within your office and we do the rest. Whether you have 5 or 100 employees, our portable studio is the most cost effective and professional means of getting head shots done for your team.

THE APPROVED SHOTS WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE ON YOUR OWN PRIVATE PROOFING GALLERY ON MY WEBSITE.  YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DECIDE WHICH PHOTOS ARE TO BE RETOUCHED AND WILL HAVE ACCCESS TO DOWNLOAD ALL THE  PROOFS FROM THE SESSION. 

FAQ

  • How long does each head shot session take? For individual sessions, half hour. For on location volume sessions typically anywhere from 10 - 15 min per person. I can however shoot in faster increments for high volume clients but you will not get custom tailored lighting for each person.

 

  • What do I wear? You want people to look at your face not your clothes so avoid wearing busy patterns, bright colors, pastels or plunging neck line tops. Stick to more solid muted tones. You can never go wrong wearing navy, tan, grey or black jacket with a white shirt.

 

  • Hair & Makeup Please have hair and make up complete when you arrive at your session time. If you are coming to my studio and would like to have hair & makeup done professionally please make arrangements with me before hand. Studio sessions are booked by the 1/2 hour. I expect you to be ready and for us to get working as soon as you arrive.

 

  • What is a typical head session like with Rex Singleton? First to get a good picture out of someone you have to put them at ease. You have to be able to get them relaxed and feeling good for them to illicit a good expression. Laughter is a great way to make people relaxed. This can be challenging for people that feel that they are not photogenic or "hate having their picture taken". My sessions are fun and upbeat and I allow each person to review the images as we go so we can make adjustments to get a desirable head shot.

 

  • How much space do you need to shoot? If you want enviromental portraits (blurred background) I will come to your office and determine the best background location. If a seamless paper background is required, typically I shoot in a conference room or empty offices. I need a room approximately 15' x 15'. However, I can shoot in a smaller foot print if required.

 

  • What are your rates? Please see the RATES tab in the navigation bar at the top

 

  • What does that include? It includes me coming to your place of business with my portable studio, shooting, image review with you in real time, a web gallery to proof and recieve images, image edit which includes: color correction, saturation, crop, clarity, tonal & exposure adjustments.          RETOUCHING

  • Do you do retouching and what does that include? Yes i retouch images and the fee is $30/image. You have spent the time to get a professional head shot, why not complete the look with retouching? I remove bags under eyes, acne and other skin blemishes, whiten teeth, remove hair flyaways, remove neck wrinkles, dodge & burn, soften skin and much more.
